What Purpose is it going to Solve?

I absolutely don't get the concept where people shout at me or when managers shout at their juniors! What purpose exactly is going to be served through it- beats me every single time!

Like there is a certain someone, who once said- "you took so much time to give me this shit!" I went-,"I am sorry, I didn't get the last part?". Pardon me for this misdemeanour but I genuinely thought that I misheard that word. The same person, after there was a minor mistake- six months later said,"Why don't you just focus on the assignment given?"
I don't think this solves anything. It just increases the frustration of the person who shouted and for the one who was at the receiving end, whatever little out of the way they could have gone to work, they will make sure that that never happens!
I think all of us have reached that age where fear cannot get the work done. People need respect, a lot of times, they have unrealistic expectations too. Like there was this employee who was not working, and had to be fired and yet was threatening us that we cannot fire him like that in probation also, even if he is not performing.
For those of you who felt that maybe I am just making this employee thing up to prove my moral high ground, do get in touch and I have those absolutely lovely essays that I got as mail. Also, you are free to think whatever you want.
Having said that, it surprises me how easily we all lose our cool. I do too, not gonna lie! But then, I also make sure that my team doesn't know it, at least most of the time. It is for this reason that I prefer communicating over slack more than a phone call. The written word gives you enough time to peace out, think and then send the message, on calls though, you'll just end up blurting in anger.
So, while it is absolutely fine to lose your shit once in a while, let's not make that our default mode. Because when it happens. once, it is understandable, when it is recurring, it just ensures that you aren't taken seriously anymore!
